I know that but the wu's are taking about 35 minutes longer to crunch compared to the PD950.

Doesn't mean anything, that just means it's able to finish one or more extra models in the default allotted time (3 hrs in your case)  It'll whip thru as many models as it can complete.  If it knows it can't complete another model in the remaining time, it'll end early, which the D is doing.  The Conroe is completing one or more extra models (and using up more of the allotted 3 hours)  in the remaining time, and if you look at the actual granted credits/hr of work, the conroe is doing much better than the D is.
