I saw it. I told them a long time ago where I hang out (either here or at www.bleedinedge.com)

Nice to see you guys are moving on, putting things behind you, with no hard feelings towards the "other team" ....... yeah right ...

Those posts in that thread were all genuine, caring posts, posted by people who were genuinely concerned about nutcase and no doubt were genuinely missing his presence in the forum. None of those posts deserve your ridicule.

Most of you here seem determined to hold on to the past and your petty grudges, in spite of your assurances in the past that there would be "no hard feelings". Nothing more than hollow comments that meant nothing obviously.

Clearly, those of us who truly believed we'd developed real and genuine friendships over the years with our "Broadbandreports Team Starfire" buddies - were mistaken.

It's just freaking sad

EDIT: It's been brought to my attention that I just replied to an old thread. Apologies for that - if I'd realised it was a month old I wouldn't have posted.

I actually got sick and tired of the Kids in that forum. Too many 15 year old Know it alls that Need to be taken behind the shed

The problem with BBR is that all the people I had friendships on there are gone except a select few and they get hold of me in other ways, So I have no use for BBR Anymore.

Yes, I still go to BBR on a regular basis. Usually the software, security and digital forums. My 3 favorites.

Never ran into the problems with the kids. Probably hung out in other forums.

Met a few in the forums I go to but were just looking for help. They have to learn somewhere, as we did, so why not there?

BBR is not perfect. No site is.

You take the good it has to offer and brush the rest aside.

Alot of people there took the time to help me when I needed it and I don't forget. Not many like that around these days.

I do understand what you're saying though, nutcase, and can see why.

That's why there's so my many options in life, I guess.

Hopefully we all pick the right ones.

Now if only I could travel back in time to change a few of mine, LOL, I'd be all set!

You're right, Carren It's freaking sad that some here (including you) are holding on to grudges from the past. I think everyone here realized that in that particular post, Paul was making a joke. He is certainly no though. I for one would like to see bitter and sarcastic remarks stop both at DLSR and here.

Most of us have moved on, and yes, most of us were bitter and there are a few that are still holding on, but by and large, we have moved on.

Re: They want you back nutcase :PEDIT:
 (United States)

well, I will say I still hold a little grudge. except for the deleted and Locked Posts, I have no grudge in the seti forum.

I do have a grudge about all the equipment I have donated to Crunchy, Foldinator and as prizes in the overclocking forum, which I have figured out to be over $3,000.00 and even as a member of BBR, I never had access to the forums for the projects. The only person that has ever even said Thank you has been Transitman and Gordo74 (who is now a member here).

My main grudge has nothing to do with the DC teams at BBR. They are the only reason I stayed as long as I did. My main grudge has to do with the other forums and that is why I left BBR. Plus I looked and in a 6 month period, I had only done 14 posts on the whole site. BUT, I had 300+ IM's for various BS things (which I will not get into).

I do not have the time to help out people at 3 sites, work 10-12 hour days, take care of a house, do my beta testing and keep my own computers running. Then go answer a bunch of IM's at BBR, I was getting maybe 4 hours sleep a night.

now, if you figured it out, The Grumpy Old F$$T needs some sleep!

You know you're always welcome here, but it appears you've made your choice regardless.  If you are going to hang out here and post, please don't dredge up old posts and continue to stir up the very issues and feelings you seem to be so vocal against.  I mean, you are doing the very thing you seem so insensed about...
