which opt app should i use? when i put the opt app in this machine it stopped running seti units in cuda. but the astropulse units took a heck of a lot less time. I have all the current drivers, the latest BONIC, and the sse4.1 op app. anyone help i want to crunch more

the app_info.xml in the optimized app package is preventing you from running cuda. You need to get the russian's package which includes everything to do AP + setigpu.

ok and can i just copy everything over and it will work??? do i have to wait for current wu to finish, aslo is e@h going to have cuda support soon? and are there any opt apps for it??

The optimized app should allow the current work to finish normally. However if it doesnt it will abort them quickly you'll start with a few WU's and work your cache back up to normal. I wouldnt worry though they'll just ship on the work to someone else if it does abort. The important thing is getting the opt app working. I don't know how much you've read on the CUDA forums at seti but the seti CUDA has problems you need several additional files to make sure you dont get hanging WU's and VLAR WU's

Ok i installed the optimized app. and every one of the work units failed. right now i am running the stock seti client with out any opt apps. i would love to run the opt apps and boost my rac but dont know if i can with this system using cuda. but if any of you out there have some time to kill and want to give me a hand pm me and i'll shoot you my number and we can see if we can get me crunching at a better rate.
