Download page- http://lunatics.at/index.php?module=Downloads

The lunatic team has had this ready to go for quite some time, waiting for the official release of the multibeam app.

More details later...

Just a note, if you got the 2.4 app early, check the app_info file.  Chicken was a little sleepy when he posted it and forgot to include instructions for the 5.27 app. If it's not in your app_info file you can just edit it in or go back to lunatics and download it again. He has added it on the later downloads.

I just downloaded it again and dragged the new files in. They overwrote the other files and everything is going fine. If you don't change it you might lose the new 5.27 MB WUs.since it won't know how to handle them.

I think I wait util I can see the benefits to install the new app. If somebody already has experience with the new app please post here.

Ok, I will check it out in a bit, even though I think that with the download fluctuations it's not the best time to do an app. update ...

Ok, I have some initial numbers.

Well, it may be a little bit slower, how ever as far as I can see you get a little bit more credits so the ratio of the credit is better. (the lower the better)

These are the hard facts

More new updates from Crunch3r on 9/2/07.

http://calbe.dw70.de/seti.html

Note....
There is a very small bug in the app_info.xml files which causes a 'unparsed line' error that is listed in the Boinc startup messages. It is caused by an extra blank line in the file just before the very last line. It does not cause any problems. You can ignore the error in Boinc, everything works fine. Or if you are so inclined, you can edit the blank line out of the app_info.xml file.

I have personaly not found a 2.4 ap to run on vista yet. I have been running his first set of apps on xp without any problems. Once this recent download bottleneck mellows out i'll try this one out.
