They have released new clients for Intel and AMD.  http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=31810#360541  I'm going to play around with it and see how they work.  Since these are based on the 5.15 WU we may have to let our WU's run out before installing the new clients.  I'll post more as I get them running.

EDIT:  I installed the clients to two of my P4 D's without any problems.  It replaced Crunch3r's client and picked up where it left off.  It's best to make a backup before trying the new clients just in case.  It's too early to tell the difference, if any, between the two clients.  I'll know more after it crunches a few WU's.  In case you're not sure, the client goes here.  X:\Program Files\BOINC\projects\setiathome.berkeley.edu

I loaded it on my 920D but so far I can't tell any significant differences from the Crunch3r app. Some AR's are slower and some are faster, but not by much. So far they seem comparable.

I can only please one person a day. Today is not your day... tomorrow isn't looking too good either.

There is a new version out.  http://www.zadra.org/seti_enhanced/index.php?module=Downloads;catd=4

Two things are new in R-1.3:
- The apps now output the true CPU speed in MHz.
- There is an automatic test, benchmark and install package available (the automatic installer has not been tested extensively yet, but *should* work).

Thanks for the info.  I'll try and load it up if I can get the chance tomorrow.

Thanks, Sir Ulli.  It will be good to know how well it works.  I know there a few that are running 64 Bit Windows.

They have played with SSE4 and found that there is no noticeable difference between it and SSE3.  So they haven't bothered trying to build up a release.

I can't wait to try the 64 bit client on the D's and conroe.  Sounds very promising.
