Something else that I find a flaw on this forum is that since it have problems with FireFos I have to use I-explorer when posting.
How ever for some reason you don't get ie-spell to work with this site in IE, the option "check spell" doesn't appear at all in with right click here.
At least for me who is a non native English speaking person I really want to spellcheck everything that I written before posting.
As it is now I have made a black page with a text field. http://hem.bredband.net/b360565/x.html
I copy and paste everything I have written there, do a spell check there and then copy and paste it back here,
when all spell errors is corrected.
How ever it's a big annoyance and it takes a lot of extra time ... [EMO]Angry/angry-smiley-001.gif[/EMO]

Crystallize, Most of us are quite fluent in typo-ese. Don't worry so much about it, we'll figure it out.

Try right clicking outside of the edit box. I have to do that with ieSpell. For some reason it won't show up when I right click in the edit box.
It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues

Spell check? I just use SpellBound for Firefox. Works good. Don't ask me where to find it though. :/

DT wrote why not just use google itself? *sigh* as I said in my original post, this forum is very incompatible with Firefox. I do use Firefox normally, even on this forum. Only when I want to reply to a post I choose "view this page in IE" as 50% of all times when you try it with FF you get this "running script error" when trying to reply with FF and you have to close FF with task manager to even get any further, it's get stuck ... I do have this in FF normally ...

I get that error too... but once the message appears, everything works ok again. And don't worry about spelling issues - most "english as a second language" folks I know have a better grasp on spelling and grammar than the native speakers do.

Well, mine does not get ok, even after the message, it have happened that I have gotten the message several times, it just get stuck.
I installed Firefox 2.0 to see if it would get any better, but no, actually it seemed even worse..
... and spellbound is not compatible with Firefox 2.0 at all, so now I've lost even that.
To bad there isn't a "regret update" function in FF... [EMO]Confused Gallery/confused-smiley-008.gif[/EMO]

You can always uninstall FF2 & go back to a previous version. Start-Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs - Remove FF 2.0, reinstall a previous version.

Hmmm, now I'm getting it too since I upgraded to FF2.0. Well, now it seems to be working. I seem to have a spell checker now though. Just right click in the box after you compose your post and it shows up there. Just click it to activate it and it checks the field for spelling errors.

Hmmm, I'm getting a non responsive script warning when I try to post. It seems to clear up after a minute though. To get back on the topic though, it seems you have to manually activate the spell checker each time you start a new topic or reply to a thread.

Yes, now my FF also works again after I stop the script. And yes I also have the spell check option on right click. How ever it took a while for me to understand how to activate it, you also have to choose language for every activation...
