No country on posts?  (United States)

My profile says United States, but all my posts show "(N/A)"?

What gives (gave out)?

Apparently the script doesn't like you....

I believe there are some IP ranges that are mixed up, so it can't tell which country you're from.....

Re: No country on posts?  (United States)
I looked into this before, and what happens is it gets the country from a reverse DNS lookup, and if there's a country associated with the IP, it returns it.  However, there seems to be some problems with duplicate mapping for some IP ranges, so you wind up without a country either way.

Gary,
Any possibility of getting the country from the user's profile instead?
Paul
