Docking@Home is back  (United States)

Got this email today:

in case you have not noticed it yet, your favorite BOINC project has moved from El Paso, Texas to Newark, Delaware and has found a new house in Michela Taufer's Global Computing Lab at the University of Delaware (UDel).

So please, if you have not done so yet, please disconnect your BOINC client from the old URL to the new URL: http://docking.cis.udel.edu and have a look at the new D@H home page (a revamp of the web page will take place soon).

One of the students at UDel has created a really cool Windows screensaver for the Charmm application. We will release this as soon as we have ironed out most of the problems. Something to look forward to!

Thanks for your patience and we apologize that things have taken so much longer than anticipated, but you know how it goes in real life Also a big thanks to the volunteers that have stuck around on our message board all this time; your motivating messages have made us work harder!

Best regards,

Your Docking@Home Team

I got the email too. I can't say I was happy with their alpha test last time.

I don't remember any specific problems last time, other than alot of out of work messages, which is to be expected for an alpha.

Still out of work for the most part, but we'll see.

I'm still ticked at a credit problem they had and ignored when they changed versions at one point. They released a new version, and if the same WU was turned in by an older version the computer with the new version didn't get credit.

Eh, I didn't even know that went on.  It was an alpha project so I didn't even pay attention to the credit stuff .

Very true it was alpha, but it still bothered me.
