I will be back, that's for sure.... But it's time that I have to retire from all this.... My bills are too much, my work pc demands very intensive cycles.... I've been holding off for a while to see how things pan out.  The Prime Grid thing was really cool... Hope that there are more... I really have to say that it's my time to finally turn in my crunchers, those active pc's need to be working for the company.. And the home rigs need to be silenced.  These will also be either sold or donated... I just cannot afford this hobby any longer....  When I have more time and money, I WILL be back with a vengence..  I promise... Right now,  it's just time for me to part from crunching 24/7.... I am and always will be a member of TSWB....  I will keep in touch, but my machines have seen their last days, maybe weeks.......

It ain't easy being greazy..

Gotta do what you gotta do. First, don't be a stranger here. Crunching or not, you're still a member and friend. See you crunching again when you can justify it.

I am sure we have all felt the crunch at one point or another.  I am going through one myself at the moment.  For the most part, the computers online are computers that were left here to be worked on.  I decided to run BOINC on them for as long as I can just to make sure that they are stable.  We all appreciate everything you have contributed both in the forums and with the project.   Stop in when you can and say hello and I am sure you will be back.

Why don't you just let it run it in the background on the PC's you got, that's what I do !
It's not necessary to invest so much time in it. An occasional application update is all it really needs.
Hope to see you again !

I haven't posted in a while! Life has been busy here!

I agree with Crystallize, Just leave the 1 or 2 computers you keep, crunching. No need to be a big powerhouse! Just look at mine lol

I totally understand though! Gotta do what you gotta do! Maybe I'll get to start being more active on the forums again, and I still idle in irc!

Sorry to hear it but I understand.  I've been thinking about cutting back a little myself.

It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues

As was mentioned in one of the previous posts, you don't have to pull down big #'s to be part of the team.  I don't pull down big #'s, I'm just running 3 home computers. One of them being a dinosaur I built about 8 years ago~

I understand where you are coming from though, I had to do the same thing with Everquest recently so that I could focus on school and family.
