Orbit@Home  (United States)
Orbit@Home has finally started up.  It's interesting to be in on a project right at the beginning and watch them work through the initial "oopsies", like: deadlines too short; file permissions wrong; sending machine works but receiving one doesn't (so WU's stack up in user's machines).

Re: Orbit@Home  (Canada)

Most of my rigs have now had wu's, but with them taking only 0.08 sec. to complete there was no real credit given yet.

For the most part it looks like they're just testing out the apps and hardware with RandomNumberGenerator wu's.

Got an Orbit@Home WU running now on my D with Win XP. Estimated run time of around 3 days. And from their message board, "just don't restart your comp, they error out of you do".

Version 1.11 cancelled, version 1.13 released. 13 hours of crunching down the drain.

New WU's are flowing, completing and granting credit. so far so good.

I've received several WU's They look like they all take about 80 minutes to finish. the count down is inaccurate. about 20 credits/WU

Starting to get invalid results. It seems to only be validating the first 2 reported and invalidating the rest.

actually looking at more results, seems to be all kinds or different errors out there.
