Re: next PG challenge  (United States)

It's gonna be PSP Sieve... runs both 32 and 64bit.

Just faster on 64bit[EMO]Devil Gallery/devil-smiley-003.gif[/EMO]

Sounds good, I'll run PrimeGrid on those days, should be able to add a few (very few) thousand credits to the team total.

OIC. Maybe it's time to format the quad and install XP64......likely not! 32 will have to do then!

You want the smallest cache possible leading up to the Challenge.

Only WUs downloaded AFTER 6:04 AM Central Standard Time (12:04 UCT) on the 17th and reported BEFORE  6:04 AM Central Standard Time (12:04 UCT) on the 21st will count.

No need for all that. Just suspend Milkyway for the duration of the challenge, you can attach to PrimeGrid anytime between now and the challenge, but I'd set it to no new work until the start of the challenge.

As always, only work that was downloaded after the start of the challenge and reported before the end of it counts towards team and individual stats.

Fish, I checked that thread again, and those times were off. You went to sleep early last night, hope you don't mind me editing your above post to the right time.

Thanks, I went to change it after they made the announcement but couldn't find the edit button. Usually they start it noon our time.

Re: next PG challenge  (United States)
Yeah, after a day or two you can't edit your posts, you have to PM me, Ron or Xaak to have it edited.

The challenge is starting in 20 minutes, make sure you go to Prime Grids' Your account page, edit Prime Grid Preferences, and select Prime Sierpinski Problem (Sieve) as the only project you wish to run, then click update. After the start time, toggle Boinc Manager's Project tab, Pselect Prime Grid and toggle Allow new Tasks.

Re: next PG challenge  (United States)
grr frustrating,  looks like my pcs are stockpiling the finished wu's.  I keep checking the PG results and nothing been turned in yet. Wish I were at my pcs I'd be kicking the tires.
