Rosetta's busted  (United States)
You may have already noticed, but Rosetta's backing up. From the R@H site:

Outage Notice: The project is down for repairs. The SAN hiccup'd and we're rebuilding the fileserver. We're working as quickly as we can to get things back up and running.....

Hopfully it'll be fixed soon.

Wow. Still not functioning. Must be a Big Problem on the servers.

Luckily on my main Rosetta box, I upped the local cache to 5 days sometime last week. My slower box is already out.

I've been out of Rosetta for a couple of days. Seti is having a nice run on my computers as long as R@H stays down

NOw seti is back logged so I get no Work

Yeah, all of mine are out of seti.  Oh, wait, I haven't been attached to Seti since May 20th .

Re: Rosetta's busted  (United States)

Well, it's back up.  (Sort of.)  All my completed WUs have uploaded, but the "reporting complete" is getting errors.  Also, no work is coming down.  According to their forums, everybody has the same situation.

So, it will probably take another day to get things all sorted out there.

BTW, the staff there is going to give "whatever" to the people that supplied the SAN that had a bug in its firmware that caused it to shut down at 45 days. [EMO]Devil Gallery/devil-smiley-031.gif[/EMO]

Re: Rosetta's busted  (United States)

All of mine have now uploaded and reported.  I've gotten new WUs on both machines.

One WU got messed up downloading, so I aborted it.  When I did an "undate", it cleared out and the ones that downloaded came down just fine.

So, it looks like Rosetta is back running OK now.
