problem with a rosetta 5.67 WU.
 (United States)

if you are having a problem with a Rosetta 5.67 Work Unit with a name starting with gp04__BOINC_SYMM_FOLD_AND_DOCK_SUBSYSTEM, Go ahead and abort it and any other WU's with this name.

The project manager has stopped this project as it is doing the following items to people's computers:

1. eating up all available memory on the computer and producing large page file sizes.

2. work unit a lot of times will come up saying 'waiting for memory'

3. will cause your computer to slow down to a crawl.

if you want any more info, there is a full thread about it at the Rosetta website:

Nice catch, nutcase.  I weeded mine out earlier today after your initial catch of the problem.

Thanks again.

That explains why my production went into the crapper, all 5 machines had a bunch of these work units.
