It seems to be the one project out there (maybe two, now that the BBC has their own incarnation,) that could directly impact the entire planet. Call me a tree hugger. :) I did SETI for a while, but between Berkely being down everytime the wind speed changes, to SETI needing new units all the time (and being on dial-up,) I decided to move on to greener pastures.
