New team
(United States) Modified By ScottMo on 1/23/2008 5:27:43 AM)
I was checking out the DC Vault, where they rank teams. Now certainly one can argue over the methodology of rankings, but TSWB comes in 48 overall. There  are several projects that we don't participate in. One, however, I have done in the past, Majestic-12. So I created a TSWB team so that we can get some credit for the work I've already done.

I'm not advocating anyone *do* Majestic-12, but since I had 3.3 million urls crawled, I figured I might as well put it toward the team. If you want to do Majestic-12, of course feel free. It uses lots of bandwidth but very little CPU. I might run a couple of days just for old time sake.

This post also marks my high water mark for most links in one post. ;)

They seem to be missing a bunch of our projects.  I'll look at it tomorrow and see if there's something we can do about that.

Wow. Big boost. Went from #48 to #24. Much better!
