Registration server down?  (United States)

I had installed TSC but it doesn't support HT so I tried to install it today in a separate folder to run 2 instances.

I can't complete the registration process, as if it can't connect to the server. Maybe the registration server is down so I'll try again tonight.

I can only please one person a day. Today is not your day... tomorrow isn't looking too good either.

Just copy the node.prp in the res folder of the other one. (that is if you what both processes under one account #)

Ah, thanks. When I got home I tried again and it worked but it's good to know that there's an alternative.

Thank you[EMO]smile.gif[/EMO]

Re: Registration server down?  (United States)
It is called making a super node when you copy that file to another folder. Some would do it across their entire network and it would like like they have a mega computer running. The downside is you would not know what systems are not running by checking the stats. I think it is OK to do this for hyper-threading or multiple machines.

I have had problems with doing that with 10-15 computers.  I have had to create new nodes accounts because it corrupted the main account.
It had to do with how many candidates can be assigned to nodes (from what Adam@TSC has told me).

Hi uniquecp,

I have 2 old machines running it XP 2100.  I think it averages around 20 a day. I will have to recheck.
