Re: 2110  (Canada)
Lordy. Great effort! My jaw dropped when I looked at our Seti stats this evening.

I burned through the last of my Primegrid, so I'm 100% Seti now, FWIW.

I'm trying cuda again. It seems to be a lot more stable -- my drivers aren't crashing every 30 secs. Sadly, the servers aren't handing out new work right now, so my 8800 GTS is idle. :( Cuda promises insane production, but in practice it's been an endless stream of tears and vomit.

Re: 2110  (United States)
What's this I hear about a stomp? Count me in, a least for a bit.

I have a trip planned this summer to go to Uganda where my employer (a school) has a relationship with an orphanage/school. The orphanage wants to start a computer trade school to train some of their students for college (along with people from the nearby town) and possibly run an internet cafe to raise some money. The last few months I've been concentrating on that, getting donated laptops, setting them up, getting other hardware like a router. I'm testing what kind of load I can toss at the router and decided to fire up some of the slow computers in the basement. Some still had BOINC on it, so I thought it might be fun for a bit. Not much in the way of RAC (two P4 1.8 GHz, and an old AthlonXP 2.2 GHz), but its always fun to be in on a team effort.

Seems the SETI servers are a bit cranky. Uploads /downloads are hit-or-miss (mostly, you guessed it, miss).

Re: 2110  (United States)
seti servers have been misbehaving since early Saturday.  And it doesn't matter what you bring to the stomping party as long as you've got your stomping shoes on

Re: 2110  (Canada)
I have added another computer to the team.  It was brought here because five other people could not get rid of the viruses/trojans/spyware on it.  It took me a matter of an hour to get it working properly again.  I will have it for about a month and it will be crunching the whole time.

Must say we're making an incredible effort!

Optimized AP 5.03 is affecting the rac a little right now, but should soon catch up since the pending credits are incredible!
