I've got 4 computers, all crunchin' SETI... I update every one every day, (well, except one, at work...) but my computers show here as "last contact - 12/24/07 @ XX.XX hrs". Is there some problem with the XML stats from S@H?

The connection to berkely has been horrible the last few days. It keeps timing out on the hosts download, which is around 525MB. I tried twice yesterday, once on the sheduled job, and once manually, so the computer info is going to be stale until berkely gets whatever is broken (again) over there fixed.

whatever the problem was it cleared last night.

Well the backlog of short Seti wu's seems to have cleared, their traffic seems to have settled down over the weekend, so hopefully things will return to normal.

I do have to say, the stats pages are really loading quite a bit quicker in the last week or so, some nice server hardware Xaak has added really has made a difference.

I think maybe he was wondering why the stats and stones were so slow to update. Just a guess
