No work Astropulse v5 (United States)

I've been getting this on all my computers for a few days now. I hope it's just a hiccup! Several are getting low on WU's....

It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues

If you'd have been paying attention to the seti forums and seti server status page you'd have noticed that the AP WU's are way ahead of the MB by about 150 tapes as I recall. Since MB is so far behind they are now force feeding us MB WU's until they are back to equal

I'm betting any AP being sent out is probably a resend from an aborted or non returned WU.

They mentioned that there wouldnt be many APs being sent out. You got lucky. I've gotten nothing be MB's for the last week.

Actually I did look on the Crunching Forum as well as the Tech News forum and didn't see anything on it then. All four ap_splitters are not running now. Earlier today they had two of them up and a few got released. Hopefully it won't be take too long for Berk to get them up and running again with some new work.

I got 4 AP's last night all resends. _3 _3 _4 and a _8

just checked server status
available AP Work =1
if you check, all the tapes available the AP work is all "done" doesnt matter if the splitters are working. theres no work to split

Well I guess they are still trying to install the new tape recorder at Arecibo. It looks like they are having some trouble getting it going. My best cruncher, 11K rac, just ran out of WU's so it's shut down for the summer +. As my computers run out of WU's they are going to get a long deserved rest. 10 years is a long time crunching and 6 years is a long time for a farm to run non stop. It's been fun though...

I know whhat you mean about taking a break... I took one for a long while. Take it easy and I hope you find your way back like I did. I added two more quads in the past week or so, I'm just hoping my rac stays the same and doesn't go down until we are able to get more AP units.
