STOMP ALERT  (United Kingdom)
Catman....sorry lad, but I am about to stomp you..should happen in about two days, thought I would give you fair warning that I am approaching from your 6 o'clock position, so if you would be so kind as to either put your foot down, or get out of the way for a while, most appreciated...

Also, to all those above me with lower RAC's, I am a coming.....

Re: STOMP ALERT  (United Kingdom)
Hey Catman, sorry but you slowed down so I zoomed by...that blur was me not a UFO chap.

My RAC has now jumped from a few hundred to over 1000, hope to improve on that too.

Re: STOMP ALERT  (United Kingdom)
One of my PC's died the other day, thought it was a HDD issue, turned out to be the Main board, after approaching 5.5 years of crunching, the venerable old Dell Optiplex GX620 SFF died. The original CPU I have in a draw (2.6GHz HT P4), but I replaced that over 4 years ago with a 3.4GHz P4D after a bIOS upgrade, the little machine was only turned off when we moved house 2 years ago, the rest of the time it has been doing SETI or some other number crunching....still, everything dies.

Skytag has died, long live Stytag (bought a another Dell machine (3.4GHz P4D) so the HDD and OS will simply swap with a couple of driver changes :) )

Also will be buying a i5 or i7 machine in the next month or so, and possibly a couple of dual Xeon workstations....:D
