They were castrated by Justin, fatness, and Sortofageek and the rest of the teams in the "new" dcs with the help of Ed and the rest of the Mod Squad over there.  Hank, the half senile dupe took over what they're trying to pass off as the leadership position.  The saddest part is they all seem happy with that.  They try to still convince themselves they're the old team by keeping the name, which Hank has even bastardized into TeamStarFire, but that place is no more than an empty shell of what it was before the castration.

When Paul was fired as our moderator by fatness in a way that totally lacked class, we made a decision to move here and almost all of the active membership came over here sooner or later.  A few went elsewhere too.

My take on it it is that Hank isn't clever enough to give him 80% of the blame.  He was being used by Fatness, and was talking to him from the point that Sorto and the rest of her crew tried that power grab before we got the soon to be removed BOINC forum approved.  And after all, it was the DCS group, or part of it, who went fishing for someone to push a vote on whether Starfire should stay and be castrated or move off-site.

You give him too much credit.  He was merely a marionette who's strings were being pulled by what was left of the DCS after we pulled starfire out of there.

Actually, Fatness told me several times he was in contact with Hank from the time of the Sorto engineered power grab onward, and Hank confirmed it in a private message saying he was told by Fatness what was going on in the DCS, and by the sound of it he was given a highly edited version to push Sorto's agenda.  So from that standpoint, knowingly or not, they provided the evidence themselves.  Whatever, he was used, and is probably still being used.   I think we can figure what they threatened Ed with, but he was certainly predisposed towards doing everything they told him to do.
