Thinking of switching teams
 (N/A)

I'm thinking of switching teams but was wondering what would happen to my existing credits. Do I come over with what I currently have or will I start over?

Also... If I quit team from my Boinc client can I immediately join this team or will I have to wait for changes to occur first?

Thanks

Charlie

Your personal credits always stay with you. You would not start over at zero.

Your old credits would not be added to the new team's totals though. Only what you crunch as a member of that team.

You can quit your old team and join a new team immediately.

By the way, saw you on the IRC channel but I wasn't quick enough to say hello :)

As said above, you can quit your old team and join ours immediately, however it will take a day or so before you will show up in our stats.

Yep, did the switch, just waiting now for everything to catch up. Thought I should do it before I begin adding new machines.

Welcome to the team, Charlie. It's great to have you here

And I can already see you there in 15th place by total credit http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_display.php?teamid=127048&sort_by=total_credit&offset=0

Did you say more machines? I was already impressed with your fleet
