If BOINC will run on Windows Mobile 5.0??

I have ordered a new HP Ipaq Smartphone that uses this OS and wonder if the bugger will run BOINC so my phone can work as hard as I do :)

I do not think so. There are versions for Windows (PC), MacOS, and Linux. There is no release for Windows Mobile.

While PDAs are cool toys, the processors aren't that powerful.  Plus you'll have severe memory limitations too on them too, as they don't have much ram capablilty and you don't even want to think about using flash rom for virtual memory.  Even if you could get it to crunch, chances are you'd get very, very slow crunch times.
