Rejoined...  (United Kingdom)

Hi everyone, I tried to transfer some of my arsenal to Einstein but it kept telling me account password was wrong, then it has consistantly NOT emailed me my account key..so the old account, for what it was worth, is now defunct.

I have put Einstein on my Rock laptop, one other Dual Core machine and this one so that it will run in conjunction with SETI, I have enough cached units to keep this machine and the other going for about 8 days with things spread over the two projects, I will monitor the situation with SETI and attach the other machines as I feel it prudent to keep them from getting bored..

I am not sure how long Einstein units take or anything of that nature, but currently it is running on Two 3.4GHz P4D (945's) and one 1.6MHz Pentium M (1024MB cache).

Did you use your gmail account? I could have messaged you with the right one.

Hi Ron, I have registered the new account with the gmail account, but the old one was the same as SETI, the old hotmail one I've had since the stone age of computers. The password was the same as SETI, and that still worked until they got borked the other day..well it still works, just the website doesn't!!

To be honest the score that was on it was not too much so it is not that important, I have this shiny new account so i'll just stomp my way up the leader board of Einstein now[EMO]smile.gif[/EMO]

Re: Rejoined...  (United States)

The E@H WUs are taking about 35 hours on my P4 3.2 GHz HT box.  That's running 1 E@H and 1 Rosetta WU at the same time.

My P4D3400/4MB is averaging about 11 hours a unit for Einstein it would appear, although  am not sure this is accurate, I have noticed that the time per unit varies considerably. The initial guessimate was more than 70 hours, but that dropped dramatically as the unit progressed, so I suspect that these 11 hour units on this machine may simply have been erroniously simple ones that do not reflect the true amount of crunch time required...
