I installed them last night on 2 boxes and the Windows app appears to be stable so far.  It also appears to be really really, fast.  Dropped wu times  on 2 core 2 duo boxes (e6600's) close to 40%.

Apps are available at  http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/power_apps.php

They have Windows , Mac, Linux (both 32 and 64) and Freebsd versions.

There's only one for each os, which makes it easy to choose, and all you have to do (for windows at least) is unzip it to your BOINC\projects\einstein@home directory and restart boinc.

Happy crunching.

Cool, was going to make a post of this after telling everyone in the chat room last night. Glad it's working out well!

Which brings us to the site where I saw Einstein had optimised apps again, maintained by zombie67: http://homepage.mac.com/zombie67/BOINC_Projects.html He keeps up with most all projects, with fields for info one needs at a glance when deciding which project to use. I really appreciate a site that tells me which projects run X64 clients, work availability, optimized apps, etc.

It's a great timesaver for me, as I'm pretty much going down my project list, trying to hit a million credits in as many projects as possible. Looks like Einstein will get some cpu time coming up shortly!
