when i run the 64 bit client it will not download wu's becuase the server does not handle 64 bit clients yet. at least that is what the Berkley fourms say

I'm pretty sure that's correct, but I haven't played with 64 bit at all.

Re: I'm Back...Kinda  (United States)

Which project are you trying? SETI and about half of the other projects should be sending out tasks to 64bit clients.

The client linked here does not look like it is one that should be used. It looks like one that claims to be an "AMD64" platform, the official platform name uses "x86_64". The latest test versions from Berkeley seem to be working and use the official platform name.

I am running 32 bit for now. so my numbers should start creaping back up.

I am used to live in Washignton next to the hanford location. I got to take my Daughter on a tour there, pretty neat place

Funny thing is now that I moved across the Country I am now within 500 miles of the Livingston Observatory

Re: I'm Back...Kinda  (United States)
Einstein has not upgraded their server yet to handle 64bit clients. So using the 32bit client for a while is probably the best solution, unless you want to add a backup project until they upgrade.

Doesn't take long. We're a little stagnant on the Einstein front.
