No work for some time  (United States)
It's been several weeks since I've seen any work at LHC.  Their "news" on the home page hasn't been updated in some time.  Their forums have mostly "where's the work" kind of posts.  Wonder when we will see some WUs?

Re: No work for some time  (United States)
LHC has always had a sporatic work supply. When there was an administator there he usually had about the same warning we did when new work was coming, ie. suddenly there was work available. We still get some from time to time, the last batch was about two weeks ago, a very small run of about 5000 tasks.

I picked up a  few of those wus in the last run.  I guess I attached to the project just at the right time.

The WU's will come eventually. It's just not a project to set as your main one. Work is only sent out as needed.

Re: No work for some time  (United States)
Einstein is my "main" project.  However, I've set LHC up to get 75% of the work (with E@H = 24%) so that it will crunch 'em on down if I do get any WUs.  (The other 1% is for Rosetta in case E@H looses their A/C again.)

I think it makes a great third project, if you get some work you will crunch it be done with it and back to whatever other projects you crunch with little or no interruption, that is if you ever get any work ;)

With the amount of LHC work I think it actually makes sense to set it up as a main project to get more work when there is work, but then again even running at 20% on one box here it should do a fair bit of LHC work when there is work to make up it's resource share deficit.
