BAM?
 (N/A)

Has anyone checked this out?

http://www.boincstats.com/bam/

I'm wondering if there are any benefits to running it.

Interesting!  Looks like everything one needs to control your BOINC accounts on one page.  If you have a lot of projects then this is what you want.

Re: BAM?

It has advantages and disadvantages. It makes administering remote hosts much easier. You can add or remove projects without having to visit the host. You can adjust your resource shares with one visit to one website. You can join a team at all projects from one website. You can see if the host is still alive from the one site.

On the down side. You can not detach a projects at the local host, the account manager will reattach them at the next connection. This happens in reverse sometimes too, if the account manager thinks you should not be attached to a project it will detach it. Sometimes project preferences get reset (I think this one has been fixed).

It sounds like it still needs some work before I am ready to try it.

Sounds like a good idea.  Wait and see how it turns out.  I quit using BoincView because it made the computer it was on almost useless for crunching.  Remote desktop or similar program is the way to go.
