Berkeley down..
(N/A) Modified By paul on 7/22/2007 6:26:39 PM)
Looks like they lost all internet connectivity. Seti and Boinc sites time out, forums, everything..... network graph has dropped like a brick.

Been running too well here lately, I guess....

edit- this was a planned outage for some work next door to the lab-

  July 19, 2007
There will be a lab-wide power outage (for repairs in a nearby building) this weekend. We'll be shutting down BOINC/SETI@home services around 16:00 PDT on Saturday, and coming back on line 08:00 PDT on Sunday. All web/data servers will be unreachable during this time.

So, the work was completed, everything came back up, but they are experiencing some routing issues on campus-
  July 22, 2007
All of our servers came up fine after the power outage. However we are currently experiencing a routing problem that we are working with campus on. This problem is preventing the distribution of work.

I blame MikeC and his cool new BOINC IRC stats script which is running on the server.

Not so fast.

Site and forums are up, painfully slow. Still a big zip for the project itself. No traffic in or out as yet.

Looks like we're back up. Must have been a long night for whoever stayed with it to ensure the issue was resolved.
