ADding Second Instance on X2 Processor?

Just upgraded this box with an AMD64 X2 4400+. Boing manager looks like it's running correctly, since it's crunching two WU at a time. That means I don't have to run another instance of SETI, like folks used to have to do, right? BOINC finds both proc's when it does it's benchmarks, and it's just download another pisspot full of WU, I'm assuming to keep the second CPU busy. Is there anything else I need to do?

Correct.  BOINC will use any number of processors up to the limit you set in your profile.  No need for multiple instances of boinc or other tools.

As an addendum, SETI just finished two work units in...get this....53:06. My times on the old CPU were in the 4-6 hour range. This might be a pair of short WU, but from the looks of the way I'm chewing through the next pair, this might be indicative of my new processing time. Would moving to 1mb L2 cache account for the difference? Plus using the optimized client? The clock speed is only 200 mHz more. I'm astounded.
