Heads up on Compusa store closings
(United States) Modified By Xaak on 3/11/2007 4:20:25 PM)

I'm not sure if all the stores are giving the same discounts on the same groups of products, but the Compusa near me has 30% off on tech parts, of which processors and motherboards are part.  I was able to score an E6400 and a Gigabyte 965P-S3 motherboard for just about $300 on the nose.  Memory was 10% off and fans and other parts were 20% off.  If your in the market, have a look at your local Compusa if it's closing.

Good hunting and good luck!

If you have a reseller license, make sure you register with their business department. They are one of the few big box stores that offer reseller discounts, and they tend to be based on paying a % over store cost. No telling what a store clear out sale would do for those rates. Unfortunately my stores aren't closing, so I get no deals. :(

Everything's regular retail minus the closeout discount in the stores that are closing.  They're not even honoring the advertised specials or fliers, and they've stopped taking coupons too.  For business stuff, they'll refer you to a store that's not closing or the business website.
